⏭️ 2024

I’m really looking forward to this year. I think this is going to be a gigantic year for LOST FR8.

In our issue last week, I shared the things we did in 2023 and said that this issue would look ahead to 2024.

But, to be honest, I have no clue what 2024 holds.

This time last year, our slogan was “never send a truck list again” and we ended up sending over 300k truck lists by the time the year was over.

I never planned to create an AI excuse generator, or democratize access to gongs for the freight world then demo it in front of hundreds of people at an industry conference.

I never planned to sell hats that please advise on it.

I hadn’t planned to have a Discord with over a thousand people in it.

But that’s the best part.

Plans are a bit overrated (imo).

So instead of writing down a bunch of KPIs or OKRs or [insert acronyms], I’m going to promise that we’ll continue to have fun and let it rip.

My goal is that the fun and good vibes trickle down to all you fine people.

We’ll continue to hammer on lostfr8.com, building no nonsense tools for carriers (and maybe brokers…. hit us up if this piques your interest).

We’ll continue recruiting awesome people in to our Discord.

We’ll continue having awesome events.

We’ll continue working on this newsletter, adding all sorts of cool stuff from the community.

We’ll continue to feature awesome carrier of the weeks.

We’ll also probably do a bunch of stuff I cannot possibly plan for.
