🏟️ Digital Freight Community
The LOST FR8 Discord is a digital freight community. I first wrote that phrase as to poke fun at digital freight brokers, but since as I’ve thought about it, I kind of like it.
It’s a Discord server comprised of 1101 freight professionals ranging from drivers, brokers, freight forwarders, tech bros, journalists, and more.
Each week, we have a series of events. I know you can’t always attend, so I’m going to be sharing what goes on here.
In The Arena
The Arena is the crucible of the Discord. In it, movers & shakers share their stories in front of a live audience. It’s recorded.
So far we’ve had Ross Kennedy, John Konrad, Craig Fuller, Timothy Dooner, and Andrew Silver. We also did a special AMA episode of the Voice of Go(r)d show.
Thanks to everyone who came out last week for Andrew Silver’s appearance. He shared a lot about his journey and I personally found it very interesting. I hope you did too. You can listen to the recording here.

Tech Bro Tuesday
This occurs every Tuesday at 9pm EST. We discuss technology broadly and sometimes event have demos from community members. All are welcome.
Last week, we had a special demo from Happy Robot & Mone Transport showcasing an integration they just completed with LOST FR8.
Happy Robot is an AI voice agent that replaces Mone’s phone router, aka the answering machine that goes “dial one for dispatch, two for billing, etc”. Instead, a human-sounding robot answers and can answer general questions or be directed to the proper human.
The cool thing is, the robot can now pull real capacity data from LOST FR8 and read it directly to the caller.

Freight Therapy
This is an event we do every week at 9pm on Thursdays on Twitter Spaces. It’s pretty casual. There’s really never a set agenda, unless something crazy is going on that week.
Last week’s event was hosting by Chris Thomas, who stood in for me.
